Collaborations have been a variety of single-expedition contracts to multi-year sponsorships.

Product Feedback & Development

Enhanced product feedback and development utilizing expedition travel & a design background. These detailed documents are sent to brand product-design teams for assistance in product development. In the same regard, prototypes are tested on these expeditions and individual feedback documents are created for each prototype. Selected works below.

Product Design

Time spent in the mountains yields inspiration for products to meet our needs. Annually or Bi-Annually, long format product ideation documents are sent to brand product design teams to inspire & influence future design processes. Most of this work is private and cannot be shared here, but below is a small sampling.

Darchula Kitbag 150

All in one mountain pack: Built interchangeably for portering and travel. This pack is inspired by remote expeditions to Western Nepali Himalaya. On trips of this nature, bags can end up at a surplus, this is a bag for all purposes encountered.

  • Sleeping pad stowed against back

Soloist Alpine Kit

Lighter, Faster, Less to do! For the soloist, movement and all-day protection are everything. In this kit, a soloist can leave basecamp in a lightweight three-piece suit and step right onto the route. As temperatures change, an ultralight down vest or full down parka can be added.
